We realise that time is a valuable commodity!

Very few of us have the opportunity to put our lives on hold for a few months while we follow a dream. To overcome this, we’ve introduced an Intensive Divemaster Program. It’s a 3-week course that you can complete on a one-month Thai tourist visa. So that when it comes to getting on with your everyday life and becoming a Divemaster, you can have your cake and eat it!

What will you learn?

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities.

Through knowledge development sessions, water-skills exercises, workshops, and hands-on practical assessment. As the course progresses, you will develop the skills to organise and direct a variety of scuba diving activities.

Working closely with your Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems.

You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so that you become a role model to divers everywhere.

You’ll learn to lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training.

Intensive Divemaster Course pre-requisites

Because this is an Intensive course, compressed into a short space of time, the pre-requisites are a little tougher than a regular 6-week Divemaster Course.

You will need to have completed the Divemaster e-learning before the start of the course. You should be able to complete most of the theory portion of the course before you arrive. This leaves us more time in the water once you get here.
You will need to have completed your Rescue Diver Course and EFR (CPR/first aid) Course prior to arrival (or you will need to allow an extra 4 days to complete these).

You will need a minimum of 50 logged dives to start this program.

Equipment

If you’re coming to Thailand for 6 months to work, then clearly you are going to need your own equipment. However, we realise that if you’re here to take the Intensive Course and then return home to ‘normal’ life after 3 weeks, that maybe lugging 20kg of dive kit half-way round the globe isn’t top of your agenda.
We’ve priced this course to include the use of a full set of scuba kit while you are doing your course.

Equipment for intensive divemaster course

If you have a particular piece of kit such as your own mask, that you can’t be without, then by all means bring it with you.

We will provide you with high quality Scubapro regulators, shortie wetsuit, Mares Avanti Quattro fins, Scubapro or Cressi BCD, mask and snorkel as well as required accessories such as cutting tool, surface marker buoy, surface signalling devices, dive computer, compass and torch for the duration of your training.
