While studying the PADI Open Water E-learning Course you will learn the theory behind diving. You will learn about the effects of water pressure on our bodies, how the equipment works, and some safety procedures.

During the course, you will learn techniques that you will practice later with your instructor.  This theory is the underpinning knowledge that you will need so that you can learn to dive. It includes videos, knowledge reviews and a final exam at the end.

The e-learning course includes a certification code, which belongs to you – once you have completed all the practical steps with your instructor they can certify you using the code that comes with your course.  You can take this code to any PADI dive centre, PADI resort or PADI instructor to complete your course.
